Valve device regulates flow of water
In irrigation systems A valve is a device that regulates the flow of water or fertilizers emulsions, by opening, closing, or partially obstructing various passageways. Valves are technically pipe fittings but are usually discussed as a separate category. Valves may be operated manually, either by a hand wheel or a lever. Valves may also be automatic, driven by changes in pressure or flow. These changes may act upon a diaphragm or a piston which in turn activates the valve. Know manual valve type in irrigation systems are: Oblique, Ball, Butterfly, Gate etc.
